We decided that a glossy black was the way to go, trying to give a modern feeling. Red being pokers main client we decided that this was the obvious choice to use for the accent colour. The faded chips were added to add the element of realism.
This was the table that I personally designed. The carpet pattern was taken from the old client to help keep the same feeling. I decided that this was a good opportunity to update the table itself. This i now turned to a nice muted red. As it stands we are now the only poker client to have a red table. The lighting was another big issue as we wanted the dark and moody table feeling to be transferred across. Overall there are still some design elements that need adding but this will happen with the next release of the client.
